S…E….O for your Business,

Your SEO efforts may prove futile without the strategy of correct keyword placement. Basically you need to have a good grip on this practice to be successful in your climb up the search engine ladder. After all it’s only through your keyword or keyword phrase that potential customers find your products and services. So you want to make sure you’re placing them in a way that they are most effective.

Arguably keyword placement can be confusing. But once you know the basics, you don’t have to be an SEO expert to figure it out.

Consider keyword density

In practicing keyword placement, one of the first things you want to consider is keyword density. That is, how much keyword you use in a particular piece of content. So how do you decide? Well that’s dependent on who you’re writing for, whether you’re writing for your audience or for the search engines. Arguably if you’re building a relationship with your audience, don’t worry about it, just write. But if you’re just offering information you need to pay special attention to the amount used.

Content should sound natural

Correct keyword placement should allow the content to sound natural. It should flow logically and make sense. You should respect your audience and the search engine bots enough not to give them gibberish to read. Your audience should be able to read your content and the search engine spiders should find pleasure in crawling it.

How much is too much?

But if you choose to write for just for the search engines bear in mind that the accepted keyword density is between 1-3% of the content. Meaning if you have a 400 word article, your keyword should be used at least 4 times but no more than 12 times. More than that and you can be accused of keyword stuffing.

When is keyword placement most effective?

Keyword placement is most effective in the title of the content, in the first paragraph, throughout the body, and in the ending paragraph. Try to avoid placing keywords more than once in each paragraph. Keyword stuffing your content can send you back down the rungs of the search engine ladder as fast as you climbed up.

That’s it basically. Hopefully these suggestions will help somewhat in clearing up your confusion about correct keyword placement and you’ll realize that it’s nothing to be scared of. Like I said before, you don’t have to be an SEO expert to figure it out. Do enjoy your climb to position one in the search engines.

Traffic Building: Facebook And Twitter

Traffic Building: Facebook And Twitter

  • Create Facebook Fan Page and Twitter account – you need to make sure that you have Twitter and Facebook Fan Page first. You can name your Facebook and twitter account after your business name, or any desired name that you go by (just make sure to stick with it!). In creating an account, you should make sure to provide the important details regarding your personal / company and the products or services you are offering.Side note: A Facebook and Facebook Fan Page are different. You will want a fan page so that you can see statistics on your page as well as have the ability to have unlimited fans (as opposed to a normal Facebook account which has no stats and limits your friend count).
  • Invite Friends – once you already have the account, you need to start inviting friends. You can start from your friends and tell your friends to invite their friends too. You should make sure to invite friends that are on your target market list. If your products are for adults, then you need to make sure that you invited a lot of adults. Basically, there are two basic types of “friends” or “fans”, and that’s either random friends, or targeted friends. You can aim to have high numbers of friends but risk having low participation rates (due to the lack of real interest in your subject), or you can aim to get more targeted friends (the ones who truly benefit from what you have to offer, thus getting more active friends). In the beginning, it’s okay to have random friends just to get your numbers up, but later on you will definitely want to have targeted friends to maximize your ROI (Return Of Investment) and avoid wasting time and effort on random people who are not really interested. See Step 4, for more info on targeted friends.
  • Find time to communicate - you also need to find time to communicate with your Facebook and Twitter friends. This way, they can ask some questions regarding the product or service that you are offering. If they have something that they want to know, they don’t need to wait for a long reply. Through communications, you can also share some facts regarding your business.
  • Focus on your target audience – make sure that you always focus on your target audience. You can invite and communicate with all of them when you have the time. Also, knowing your target audience will save you time in the long run, so that you can invest more into people who truly care. It is better to have a few “best friends” or “targeted friends” than to have many friends who don’t really care!
  • Create blogs, posts and / or videos on your social media sites – by creating blogs, posts and videos on your account, you can attract more possible customers. They will be tempted to check your account because of the advertisements and wall posts that you are creating (as long as your advertisements are targeted for them and truly helps them).
Now there’s a difference between creating content, and creating “real” content. What I mean is make sure you create great content to help your target audience, and avoid “fluff” as much as possible! In doing so you are doing everyone a favor and remember, quality over quantity!
  • Make sure to have an organized website (and Facebook / Twitter) – people are not interested with sites that require them to make so many clicks. They need an instant answer to all of their questions. Once they enter your site, you need to make sure that with just one click, they will already know your business and the products or services that you offer.

If you can follow these simple tips, then you are sure to build traffic to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. You will surely get the attention of the people around you and in other social networking sites. You can then expect higher traffic to your Twitter and Facebook accounts. This is the fastest and easiest way of advertising your business on the internet!

SEO…The first 25 words.

Many people debate as to where they should place their content, and how their keywords should be placed in the paragraphs. SEO demands keywords to be placed in the first 25 words of your paragraphs or titles.
Why is this?
If you think about reading a book, in the table of contents, what type of words are listed? This same ideology applies to SEO tactics. When considering placing your keywords in paragraphs, try mentioning them in the titles, as well as throughout the paragraph in moderation. This does not mean crowd your page with your keywords! For example, do not put: “Carlyn’s flower shop contains many flowers. If you look at the variety of flowers, the flowers will range in colours depending on the flower’s type. Flowers tend to…” Search Engines understand that your paragraph is about flowers, there is no need to flood the page with the same keyword as you will bore your viewer.

If your keyword is mentioned as many times as there are the number of people with their hands airborne in the above picture, fix your paragraph!
Keyword density, which is the ratio of how many times something is mentioned, should only be at about 2-3%. In today’s age, keyword density does not even have much of an impact. Due to the amount of repetition of keywords on websites providing no use, search engines had to take the majority of value out of keyword density. Although this is a difficult pill to swallow, what you can do is invest your time in properly placing your keywords in your titles, paragraphs.

Can you Relate ?

Can you remember the reason why you started your business?

Perhaps it was because you’ve always dreamed of working for yourself and you finally got the courage to follow your passion. Or maybe because being able to work your own hours would mean you could spend more time with your family.

Whatever your reason, while running your own business is exciting and rewarding it can also be daunting – particularly if things don’t seem to be going the way you want them to.

  • You’ve been marketing like crazy but no-one seems interested in your products or services;
  • You’ve put forward a proposal, however you’ve just heard that your prospect doesn’t want to move forward; or
  • You just don’t feel like you’re good enough when you see the great things all of your competitors are doing.

Can you relate?

In times when you feel stuck and frustrated it’s what you do in that moment that will determine your outcome.

So if you are currently experiencing difficulties and you just can’t seem to break free – it may because of these. Recognize any?

Here are 10 tips that will help you refocus your mindset so that you can go from stuck to unstoppable:

  1. Are you in earshot of a naysayer? Ignore them. Just because they can’t doesn’t mean you won’t. You can!
  2. Got a problem? Instead of beating yourself up – look for opportunities to learn and growth. And, move on!
  3. Prospect rejected your proposal? Don’t take it personally. THEY may not be ready yet. Be there when they are?
  4. We are often our own worst critic. Is your inner voice causing doubt and fear? Stop! You ARE worth it.
  5. Stop letting other peoples failures prevent you from achieving your goal. Just because they can’t, doesn’t mean you won’t. You CAN!
  6. Constant comparison to your competitors will cripple your growth. Know what makes you unique. You DO have value to offer.
  7. Doubting your ability to achieve is a big business barrier. STOP undervaluing yourself & your ability. You CAN!
  8. The beliefs you hold will determine your outcome. Isn’t it time YOU believed you DO have what it takes to be a success?
  9. Make regular deposits into your self worth account. It builds confidence & esteem. Both are keys to charging what you’re worth.
  10. Doubting your worth? Recall all of the clients you’ve helped & the success you’ve achieved. That’s the value you offer.

Can you relate to any of these tips? Have you had an ‘aha’ moment? Which tip are you going to remember next time you’re faced with a challenge and feel like giving up? Dont ….Imamlocal.com

What business system do you use to drive traffic??

Did you read the book, “Bringing Down The House”?

It’s a good read about how a MIT graduate and a half dozen colleagues took a handful of Vegas casinos for millions. The ringleader of the group was trained as a mechanical engineer, who you’d think wouldn’t know a thing about gambling.

But what he did do, was apply the same type of thinking he learned at MIT, on how to engineer systems, to… beating the casinos. It worked so well, that not only did he and his colleagues make millions, they got banned for life from the casinos.

And I wouldn’t recommend you do the same, that is, mess with the Vegas casinos. But for just a minute let’s take a look at two types of people who go to Vegas.

First, you’ve got the gambler, who may have a bit of cash or a lot. And invariably they lose most or all of it. But what the heck, they tried with the hope they might win big, but hardly ever do.

Second there are a few people like the book’s main character Kevin Lewis, who created a system for fleecing the casinos, instead of the other way around.

So which type of person are you?

A gambler, hoping to win big but still frustrated with how your business is doing?

Or someone who is engineering their success and has a system for attracting a steady stream of new clients, new business and bigger profits?

Gambler or profit engineer which are you?

Now, there is nothing wrong with going to Vegas for fun, but I’m sure you can appreciate that gambling with your business is a bad idea. Which is exactly what most people do.

How about you?

Want more clients? What systems do you have in place?

• Do you have a system that month by month helps more and more prospects discover how you can help them?

• Do you have a system for building your list of qualified prospects, so each week you’re marketing to more eager buyers?

• Do you have a system for once you’ve got people’s attention for helping them to get to know you, trust you and want to do business with you?

• Do you have a system for helping prospects sell themselves on your products or services?

• And, do you have a system for generating more referrals each month?

Ultimately, it’s not demand, and it’s not luck or smarts or hard work that separates the truly successful from the wannabes. It’s having the right systems in place to grow your business.Contact us for that exact system.
